These Terms & Conditions set out how bookings with Salt Caravan work, including payments, changes, cancellations, responsibilities, and what both sides can reasonably expect.

They exist to create clarity and fairness for everyone. Not to bury you in fine print.

We recommend reading them before confirming your booking so there are no surprises later. If anything feels unclear, ask. We’re happy to talk it through.

Guest Participation Guidelines

We aim to create trips that feel considered, generous and well run. To protect that experience for everyone, we maintain clear participation guidelines for all guests.

These outline the standards we expect around behaviour, safety, fitness, respect for hosts and alignment with the spirit of the trip. They also guide when we may need to refuse or cancel a booking, activate our Trip Help Process, or in rare cases ask a guest to leave a trip.

It’s about setting the right expectations, not restriction.

Trip Help Process

Travel rarely goes perfectly. A room issue, a delayed bag, a group dynamic that feels off, or simply a day that doesn’t land as expected, these things happen.

If something isn’t working, let us know early. Our team and guides are there to solve problems quickly and fairly, so the trip stays on track for everyone.

Communicable Diseases Policy

We take guest wellbeing seriously. Our Communicable Diseases Policy outlines how we manage health risks on group trips, including COVID-19 and other transmissible illnesses.

The goal is simple: minimise disruption, protect the group, and make sensible decisions when health issues arise.
